Cows banned

We used to have our LP's in an old potato measure. As it happens, we now have a lot more LP's than before and the old measure wasn't quite big enough anymore. Luckily we found an old wooden cattle drinking trough that is perfect for holding records.

Now we have everything we need for summer trips: a suitcase, a small radio, a 60's road map and a nail kit (can't travel without a nail kit, now can you?).

Collecting is a horrible disease

You know how one thing leads to another. One day you are kind of collecting old record players (not me, though..) and then you find yourself buying anything and everything related to playing (old) music.

What to do when the small cabinets are too low for your husband's loudspeakers and at the same time you have too many books? Answer: put a stack of books on the cabinets and voilá, two problems solved! A bit bohemian but works for us.

One more, once more

We have (again) a "new" record player. I don't know how many we already have and don't want to know as I am afraid I'm going to start seeing red.

Now do you hear?

Our speakers were on the floor and the sound was not too good. Then we remembered that we had these garden stools in store. And now we can again enjoy the good acoustics of a wooden house

If you buy an old radio...

If you buy an old radio, please buy one with the same shade as the floor...My husband found this one at a flea-market (where else). Does it work? Well, kind of, it still needs a new antenna.
