As Vårkulla has been totally Swedish before we bought it, everything with Swedish text catches my eye. I bought two pots for red Christmas flowers, I think red will go lovely with the black material of the pots (they are ceramic, not iron by the way). I don't want to buy the flowers yet, I'll wait for the last advent to be sure they'll make it through Christmas. The cinnamon sticks will have to do till then.

Christmas in the garden
This is the first year ever that I got to decorate the garden for Christmas. The gravel yard in the front of the house looks good with a little snow and the decorations come to their own. I need to find more metal decorations that are weather proof but this is a good start.

No more, please
So far there is just enough snow for the garden to look pretty. I so hope that this would be it and there won't be those awful snow blizzards we got for the last three years. I could live with a winter like this.

Decorate the decorations
Hmm...these garden lights are pretty as they are but I decorated them for Christmas. It wasn't so easy to find decorations that can take wind, rain and snow but at last I found these small metal hearts.

Sofa's new clothes
I changed some of the pillow covers and added a red blanket and the sofa bed is ready for Christmas. Last year I took off the greenish blanket but now I wanted to have more colour as the white bed cover under the blankets looked too dull.

Twinkle,twinkle
I love stars! I save just the most twinkliest for Christmas but otherwise one can decorate with them year around.
